• Is it OK to borrow for a short-term missions trip?

  • Answer:  No. You should not borrow money to finance short term missions trips. Money for these should be raised from friends and church missions committees. Short term missions experience is important, but two or even three of these experiences are enough to affirm God’s call on your life. The rest of your time off from school can be used to earn in order to minimize borrowing for your education or to make payments on outstanding student loans.
