• Answer:  Christian principles of financial management depict debt as debilitating. The Bible teaches that the borrower is slave to the lender. Proverbs 22:7. Consequently, even though you may be successful in investing, you will still be burdened with debt and that will ultimately limit your ability to serve God and to give. You should also be mindful of the ups and downs in the stock market. Repayment of a 9% loan is a guaranteed 9% return.
