"Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God." 2 Corinthians 9:11

Legacy Giving

Has God blessed you financially over your lifetime? If the answer is "yes," you may want to develop a plan for your future giving. Naming MedSend as a beneficiary in your will or as a beneficiary of a retirement plan or life insurance policy are ways to leave a legacy that is an expression of your life, your values and your faith.

Listed below are some of the strategies that will help you plan your future giving. Please keep in mind that these are simply general guidelines to consider as you develop the approach that best meets your personal philanthropic goals. We recommend that you work closely with a qualified attorney and/or investment adviser when planning your estate.

Bequests
One way to give is to include MedSend in your will. This is straightforward and easy to implement.

IRAs
For many people, the very best way to give is to make a charity such as MedSend a beneficiary of an IRA, 401K or other retirement plan. When arranged properly, such a gift may help you or your estate avoid taxes while supporting MedSend's mission. This is important because in some cases, these retirement plans can be taxed at an overall rate of 70% of the assets in the plan.

Life Insurance
It’s easy to make MedSend the beneficiary of a life insurance policy.

Charitable Remainder Trusts, Charitable Gift Annuities and Donor Advised Funds
